The Memramcook Volunteer Fire Deptartment has 41 volunteer firefighters.

The Memramcook Fire Department is responsible for providing fire protection and emergency services for the Village de Memramcook. It is entirely made up of volunteer firefighters.
They are devoted to protecting the wellbeing and safety of Memramcook residents.
The Department has the necessary equipment and training needed
to fully manage a situation until an ambulance arrives.

There are two fire stations: the main station is in the former Village de Saint-Joseph and the second one is in the former Village de Pré-d'en-Haut.
The Memramcook fire station has 3 firefighting trucks and two rescue trucks (equipped with the Jaws of Life, a defibrillator and other rescue equipment).
The fire department also has an ATV (4 wheel) to respond to off-road calls. The Pré-d'en-Haut fire station has two firefighting trucks and one rescue truck.
